Suzuki is set to release the 2010 model of the KingQuad 400 – another major advance for one of New Zealand’s top selling ATVs
The Suzuki KingQuad 400 took the country by storm when it arrived in 2008, combining the ruggedness and reliability of the old Eigers with ground-breaking technology for more power, increased efficiency, better safety and ease of use.
Now, for 2010 Suzuki says it has taken the KingQuad range to a whole new level.
The big news is fuel injection for the KingQuad 400 and power steering for the KingQuad 750.
The 376cc motor in the KingQuad 400 is now equipped with fuel injection, which meters out the fuel while maintaining top performance. The KingQuad 400 also has a class-leading 16-litre fuel tank. Together with the increased efficiency of the new fuel injection system, this capacity means you’ll spend less time at the fuel pump.
One of the huge advantages it has over old carburettors is more reliable cold starting, and maintaining efficiency in high temperatures.
The KingQuad 400 also gains an all-new weatherproof digital LCD instrumentation panel, which includes a speedometer, hourmeter, odometer, trip meter, clock and fuel gauge.
Another addition for 2010 is power steering for the KingQuad 750. This system takes the effort out of steering, making the big quad easier to control. Power steering also improves the bike’s handling and makes it easier to control even in difficult conditions. It also makes light work of heavy loads and towing.
The new fuel injected KingQuad 400 is available in a 4WD and 2WD manual. An Automatic 4WD CVT (continuously variable transmission) is expected to be released later this year. Suzuki says they’re going to be very popular models, so book a demo now on 0800 SUZUKI.
